Last year’s tournament is finally kicking off. Thanks to FIFA and their machinations and then Covid, there’s little that most fans can do apart from chew nails, pull out hair and scream from behind the sofa. Until now.
For many, football is religion and their religion is football. This fan’s prayer may help – especially given that England’s first match is on a Sunday.
