KAF ARE DOING AN IPSWICH – BACK AT THE TOP TABLE

We’re back! Yes, it’s a new season and, after a frustrating term in the doldrums, we’ve bounced back and are looking to do what we do best: taking on the Premier League. The gaffer commented, “Obviously we’re delighted to be back and attacking the big guns. Who knows what’ll happen? The top flight is unrecognisable from the one we dropped out of last season. It’s like the Premier League had a squad of gaffers and was using a rotation policy.”

He’s not wrong. There are only 20 teams in the Premier League but there were 22 – yes, TWENTY TWO – managerial changes in the last season alone.  If the table went on bosses used, Nottingham Forest and Spurs would be top with five and four respectively. However, the League would obviously have investigated the joint use of Ange Posternoclue. Normally a charge like that ends with the League deducting points from both clubs but they decided not to as it turns out Ange did that for them.

“PLEASE GOD, LET THEM NOT KNOW I’M CRAP”

But the soap opera that is the Premier League kept us all on our toes with the managerial turnstile revolving so fast it almost took off.

DOOR TO SPURS’ GAFFER’S OFFICE HAVING A RARE BREATHER

Chelsea’s boss scarpered before surprisingly resurfacing in his ex-boss’s shoes at Man City. So the Blues nabbed the gaffer Liverpool fancied and the Reds promptly stole Bournemouth’s golden boy. Elsewhere, Pereira jumped Wolves’ sinking ship and washed up at the City Ground. He kept Forest afloat only to lose his crown to a German from the Palace. And while Frank became a swear word at Spurs, Coventry fans swear by it.

This season’s Premier League starts with NINE managers in new dugouts. How long they’ll last is impossible to judge. The word ‘interim’ springs to mind, not to be confused with Man United’s Amorim who ended up being interim.

We’ll let KAF’s gaffer have the final word, “Really looking forward to the season. Hope we can pick up a few points.”  And when does he think the managers’ sack race will start? “It already has.”
