Tough-talking, play-anywhere-for-Everton, Phil Neville, has hit out on behalf of Man United manager and former goal-hanger, Only Gunnar Sackyer.
Neville clumsily tackled (again) the apparent hounding of the babyface Norwegian. He reckons it resembled a “witch hunt”. And he’s absolutely right. When people ask “Which manager is no good?”, they just say “That little Norwegian bloke over there. He’s rubbish.” The real question is does it help Sackyer to be defended by the man who gave away a needless penalty to Romania at the 2000 Euro Championships denying England a certain a quarter final berth (still rankles).
Sackyer also has to put up with gobby agent to the stars, Mina Raiola. He spouts off like a spoilt, rich irritant. The chubby, little Dutch-Italian ten-percenter, who’s leeched zillions out of the game said Paul Pogba was “unhappy at Manchester United, he can’t manage to express himself like he wants to.”
But it’s no wonder Pogba is unhappy. He only earns £290k a week – that’s hardly enough to keep him in that bloody stupid hair dye he keeps buying.
